I AM DEFINATELY FOR SINGLE PARTY PAYER. I AM A NURSE WITH A MASTERS DEGREE AND GRADUATE STUDY FOR A SUMMER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OSLO INCLUDED LECTURES ON PUBLIC HEALTH IN NORWAY AND THE ENTIRE SUMMER WITH NURSES AND DOCTORS VISITING HEALTH FACILITIES IN NORWAY, OUR TEACHER WAS THE HEALTH MINISTER OF NORWAY. I AM CONVINCED OF THE SINGLE PARTY PAYER SYSTEM. PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY ARE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THIS SYSTEM AND ARE FRIGHTENED.
As I travel about internet newspapers and chatboards
across the nation one thing stands out.
There must be an orchestrated plan to keep all comment sections filled with anti insurance reform
voices. Tons of them I might add.
How about encouraging members to hit the electronic comment lines of their local papers and other papers. Yes plan on being personally attacked and insulted however these angry people have no clue who they are attacking.
Each time a response comes back go back in with another fact with a back up link. I never respond to the personal attacks. It is another opportunity
to post another point. Rebuttal to facts is rare because there is no rebuttal against single payer.
It’s time WE took back the electronic airways with good information.
Remember the Bush Misleads?
Bring on an HR 676/HR 3200 factoid and keep them rolling in as weapons of mass facts.

After both republican home loan scandals, medicare and social security are a blessing to those who lost their retirement plans in the process.
The problem is not about government insurance or that government insurance would be bad. It’s about the high profit insurance business throwing tons of health care dollars at legislators who are influenced with money and plenty of it. My what a waste of health care dollars.
And it’s all about legislators as shareholders….yes their personal money making portfolios. They are among those who love to make money off the misfortune of others. There are plenty of those types waging war against smart medical insurance. OH YES the nations shareholders are also a problem even though the reckless spending med insurance industry is screwing them out of big dividend dollars… the romance of Wall Street dumbs them down.
Medicare Insurance For All would be most attractive to small business,large business and families/individuals. It’s the only one that makes dollars and sense. It makes sense and would require much less money to operate because all of it could be done under one umbrella which saves money.
Medicare is in place ready to for all to use. Some fine tuning is all that would be necessary. HR 676 is the key
to fiscally responsible medical insurance for all.

National Health Insurance does not remove competition from the actual health care industry. It will be alive and well. Profits will be based on customer service and clinic performance based on the clients experience. This is my perception of competition.
This is the only insurance program that substantially reduces the cost of medical insurance across the board.
how has the concern for doctor shortages been addressed?
also, is it clear what timeframe this change would start coming to existence – could we have the shortages made up for by then?
do these bills ensure financial impact or budget impact for the pending reconciliation if necessary?
The real choice this country has to make is whether or not to allow Health Care in America to be for profit or view it as a human right. All things in the country do NOT have to be for profit and health care is one of them that shouldn’t be. It’s immoral and it’s wrong! The only reason the Republicans call it socialism is because they, and many others listen to right wing agitators and liars such as Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck who love to stir the pot with lies and mistatements which the uninformed buy into. Bet the right wingers don’t turn down their social security checks or medicaid, and that’s about as close to their version of socialism as you can get. Lets get rid of the lobbyists and insurance companies and bring affordable, quality health care to all Americans like they have had in other countries for years now. It’s a disgrace we don’t have it.
The fact that Move ON bought into the insurance industry $40 million scam Health Care for America NOW. Which brings Move On into question. Move ON made it evermore difficult by participating in this nonsense thus participating in a huge program to confuse americans.
Move On should be called out on this irresponsible behavior.
single party payer is the only way to go.i studied at the university of oslo for a summer in graduate school. we observed the hospitals of norway and found that the system is excellent with everyone recieving health care. i am a nurse with 41 years in a system that is not fair to all. time to change.
