National Strategy Conference – October 5th and 6th, 2013

Join Us in Nashville, TN!

You are invited to join Healthcare-NOW! activists from around the country to plan our strategy to win guaranteed single-payer national health insurance. By learning and sharing with one another we can build on the tremendous successes of the last year and develop the plan to push Congress to implement single-payer national health insurance NOW.

When: Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th, 2013

Time:
Saturday, 2pm – 9pm – Strategy Conference
Sunday, 9am – 4pm – Strategy Conference continues

Where: Scarritt-Bennett Center, 1008 19th Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37212

Fee: Registration is $40 for members (2012/2013 donors or 2012 conference attendees) and $50 for non-members (1-year membership included with registration) until September 1. After September 1 the registration fee will be $60 for everyone. A very limited amount of scholarships are available (see below).

Food: Dinner will be provided on Saturday night. Breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

STEP 2 – Pay the Registration Fee

Registration ends on September 27. All registration payments are due no later than September 27. Due to catering fees, we can no longer accept same-day registrations or payments.

Scholarships
Healthcare-NOW! can waive the registration fee for a very limited amount of single-payer activists coming to the conference. We cannot, however, pay for your travel or hotel. Please contact ben@Healthcare-NOW.org if you’d like a scholarship to the conference.

STEP 3 – Room Reservations

Scarritt-Bennett Center offers comfortable, affordable overnight accommodations to groups and individuals. Guest rooms are $50 plus tax. More information here.

Rooms include wireless internet access with a television in common area lounges. Once a college campus, the Center’s converted residence halls have private bedrooms with shared baths.

Getting to the Center/Conference from the Airport

The Scarritt-Bennett Center is 9 miles to Nashville International Airport. Shuttle Service from and to the airport is available through In-Shuttle Transportation, Inc. Reservations can be made by calling (615) 255-3519 or online here. The shuttle costs $11 for one-way and $17 for round trip.

Taxis are available on the meter for about $30 one way.
