The goal of the training is to provide you with all of the tools you need to increase your legislators' support for single-payer healthcare, using grassroots power!
You will accomplish this by learning to:
- score your legislators
- power map those legislators
- and develop a campaign of escalating tactics to move them
The goal of this training is to help you understand the importance of storytelling for organizing, and to walk you through the process of developing your own public story with supportive feedback from staff and others taking the course. This training uses the "public narrative" model developed by Marshall Ganz at Harvard University.
This training goes over the healthcare crisis in the U.S., misconceptions about our high healthcare costs, and single payer policy, equipping you to answer questions from legislators, coalition partners, and the public.
