The 2022 Medicare for All Act will soon be introduced in the Senate, and we are gearing up for a fight!
We need as many cosponsors as possible to sign on before the bill drops to put us in the best possible position to win, so please call your Senators and ask them to get onboard today!
All you have to do is call the Senate Switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected with one of your Senators. Remember, you have two Senators, so you'll have to call back the switchboard again to speak with the second one.
If you don't know your Senator's name, you can tell the operator what state you live in, and they should be able to get you to the right offices.
Chances are, you will not be able to speak to your Senators directly, but their staff will pass along your message.
When you get someone from your Senator's office on the phone, make sure to identify yourself as a constituent, tell them you are calling to ask the Senator to sign on as a cosponsor of the 2022 Medicare for All Act, and let them know what passing Medicare for All would mean to you and the other residents of your state!
Finally, it would be helpful for us if you could take a moment to let us know how the call went! We'd love to hear whether or not your Senator has agreed to sign on, or, if not, what reasons they gave you. You can use the form below to report back!
