I CHANCED UPON THE TELEPHONE CONFERENCE TODAY. I WAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO VISUALIZED LOBBYISTS TAKING BAGS FULL OF MONEY TO OUR LEGISLATORS AND THUS CORPORATE INFLUENCE. THAT MYTH IS DISPELLED NOW THROUGH THE EXAMPLE OF THE $58,OOO/WEEK NEEDED FOR AN INCUMBANT TO RUN AGAIN.
YOUR CALL HELPED ME UNDERSTAND WHY MEDICARE FOR ALL AND CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM ARE INTERTWINED. I WILL BE EXPLAINING THIS TO EVERYONE I KNOW.
