Action Alert: Vote for Single-Payer on Change.org

The second round of voting in Change.org’s “Ideas for Change in America” competition has begun. Let’s make single-payer healthcare one of the ten ideas that will presented to President Barack Obama on January 16th.

According to Change.org, “The top 10 rated ideas from the final round will be presented to the Obama administration on January 16th at an event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, co-hosted by the Case Foundation. At the event we will also announce the launch of a national advocacy campaign behind each idea in collaboration with our nonprofit partners to turn each idea into actual policy.”

You can select ten ideas, but make sure you vote for “Free Single Payer Health care.” (Note: We realize that single-payer healthcare isn’t free, and the author of the idea has noted it would be paid through taxes and mentions HR 676.)

So, please visit www.change.org/ideas and vote for “Free Single Payer Health Care.”

Voting ends January 15th.
