Action Alert: Remote Area Medical Visits LA

In a stark reminder for the overwhelming need for universal healthcare in the US, thousands of Americans in Los Angeles, CA are lining up this weekend to receive free healthcare provided by a relief organization called Remote Area Medical.

Either way, ask your elected officials to visit RAM in LA between August 11th and the 18th. It may be the life-changing experience they need to realize we need single-payer healthcare. It changed Wendel Potter’s (a former private insurance executive with Cigna) point-of-view.
