Press Policy for 2019 Single Payer Strategy Conference

Press credentials to cover the 2019 Single Payer Strategy Conference will be granted to journalists who are employed by accredited news organizations.

Press credentials will be granted to reporters from the following types of news media:

• Newspapers, weeklies, and magazines
• Wire services
• Broadcast media
• Online media
• Approved freelance writers

Reporters and writers must provide proof of credentials to receive a press badge to attend the meeting. We reserve the right to grant press privileges to individuals on a case-by-case basis. A limited number of badges are available.

Required Materials for Receiving Press Badges

For journalists:

• Media identification, such as an international accredited press pass, issued by a recognized news organization

For freelance journalists:

• Copies of bylined articles published in the past 4 months relevant to single payer or health insurance
• An official letter of assignment from an accredited news organization

For reporters from online media:

• Copies of bylined articles published in the past 4 months relevant to single payer or health insurance
• The URL for the website/media outlet for which they are writing or recording
