Cam’s Story

I was diagnosed with cancer about two years ago I found a great hospital here in SOCAL I called my then advantage plan through my employer HP Anthem Blue Cross where I was told my procedure was approved. The hospital also called to verify the approval and yes was the answer. About four weeks into my appointments. I received a letter telling me that my insurance company decided my procedure was too radical and that they would not cover my expenses. Thank goodness the hospital agreed to just take my Medicare I have been cancer free these pass 30 months.
