Many single-payer activists and supporters have been thinking about, or already started, planning an event to protect Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security the week of December 10th (International Human Rights Day).

To help, we created a number of resources you can use for a lobby visit or event.

Download this letter (.doc) to sign and address to your Representative and Senators. You can deliver it by hand or by mail. You can find your representative’s office location here.

Download this petition (.pdf) and collect contacts for your group’s database and then deliver them to your Representative.

Download this flier (.pdf) asking people to call Congress. It’s half-page and easy to hand out.

Finally, download this article (.doc) and these polling results (.doc) on the threats to Medicare to include with your letter to Congress.
