This past year I believe the American people have spoken quite loudly. The two health care bills presented, which would only have served the interests of the insurance and pharmaceutical companies, and other special interest groups, and would have added a trillion dollars to our debt, were unacceptable. Numerous polls have confirmed the fact that up to 70% of the public, 60% of physicians and 80% of the nurses want a single-payer system of health care such as improved and expanded Medicare for All.

Let's end the 45,000 annual deaths, 48 million uninsured and 50 million underinsured in this country.

The amount of money currently spent on health care in this country, under an improved and expanded Medicare for All system, would cover every citizen (including the 48 million currently with no health care coverage) and would, still, save $400 billion annually. It's a no-brainer. Only the greed of the special interests and their control of our legislators is holding this up.

We need expanded, universal, single-payer Medicare for All NOW.
